Elisabeth Higgins O'Connor, sculpture Jessica Wimbley, mixed-media installation Richard L. Nelson Gallery The 2005 MFA exhibition features four artists' work at the Nelson while four other artists' work will be on view at the Memorial Union Gallery. Bryan's small drawings derive from spiritual practice; Coats uses the horse's image as a bridge between herself and the viewer; O'Connor makes large heavy objects depicting nightmare animal visions; and Wimbley creates intense environments that meditate on representation of the African-American experience.
